Cambodia: Over 6,000 Traffic Deaths in First Half of 2010

Cambodia has recorded over 6,000 deaths in traffic accidents during the first half of 2010. Based on the report released on Thursday by the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation, from January through June this year, about 3,040 traffic accidents have been recorded, resulting into 931 fatalities; 2,853 severe injuries and 2,562 mild injuries.
